Human Chorionic Gonadotropin

Product Specification:

Human Chorionic Gonadotropin is sialoglycoprotein secreted by the trophoblastic cells of the placenta. The molecule is made of two subunits. The alpha subunit is similar to those of LH, FSH, and TSH. The beta subunit is different from the other hormones and confers its biochemical specificity. HCG maintains the corpus luteum. HCG is available as whole molecule standard (50%) and high purity (95%) grades, or as alpha and beta subunits.
